Proxima Flare is a alternative metal band from Amsterdam and Haarlem. They make loud guitar music where the drums lead the way and the bass actually matters. Clean vocals tie it all together, giving the band a sound of its own. They’ve released two EPs and are currently releasing their third EP. Their second EP reached over 80,000 streams with their single Fearless We Stand garnering 60,000 streams. They boast around 2,500 monthly listeners on Spotify. The band is very active on social media, and their online following keeps growing. Over the years, they’ve played plenty of shows across the Netherlands, including opening for I Built the Sky, and they’ve also taken their music abroad with a show in Germany.
